Ad disclosure
Recommendations and paid mentions
The guides are free to read. Display ads and, sometimes, a commission are how the site can earn. Neither one is a reason to click.
Display ads, when they are switched on, come from Google AdSense and are marked as advertisements by Google’s own labels. They are not part of a guide. Do not click an ad to support the site. A click that is not a real interest can get the site removed from the ad network. Blocking ads is fine.
The Practical Brief may also use affiliate links. If we earn a commission when you sign up or buy through a link, the article says so there, not only on this page. A commission does not change the test we use: did the step save time or money in a way you can check. A tool that fails that test does not get a guide because it pays.
Guides name specific tools and stores because a step needs a concrete example. Naming one is not a promise that it stays free or that it fits you. Prices, free-tier limits, and store deals change. Confirm them before you rely on a figure from an article.
News desks are articles written here from other newsrooms. The references are not paid placements, and they are not a recommendation to buy or sell a stock, a coin, or a car. A calculator on this site is an estimate from the numbers you type. It is not advice.
Nothing here is financial, tax, or legal advice, and product names belong to their owners. Cookies used by the ad network are described in the privacy policy.
