Croatia signed the Artemis Accords on September 23, 2026, at a ceremony in Zagreb. NASA said Croatia is the 74th signatory. Minister of Science, Education, and Youth Radovan Fuchs signed for Croatia. NASA was represented by Deputy Matt Anderson and by Gregory Mann, its representative in Europe.
NASA describes the Accords as a set of practical principles for countries exploring the Moon, Mars, and beyond: go peaceably, be transparent, share scientific data, render aid, keep out of each other’s way, and work out how to preserve historic sites. They are not a treaty that funds a Croatian lander, and they do not put a crew on a vehicle.
