Two companies booked SpaceX’s Starfall cargo vehicle
NASASpaceflight reported that Space Cargo reserved a Starfall mission for 2028 and Exolaunch reserved one for 2029. Starfall is an uncrewed cargo craft meant to go up, stay, and come back.

NASASpaceflight reported on September 21 that Space Cargo has booked a Starship Starfall mission for 2028, planned as a one-tonne factory flight in orbit. Exolaunch booked a mission for 2029 and would gather research and manufacturing payloads from other customers onto that flight.
Starfall, in that account, is SpaceX’s uncrewed, disk-shaped cargo vehicle. It is meant to carry payloads to low Earth orbit, loiter there for research or manufacturing, and bring them back through the atmosphere. The same report says Starfall first flew on a Falcon 9 on June 23, 2026.
A booking is not a launch
A 2028 or 2029 reservation is a commercial claim about a vehicle that has had one reported flight. It does not put a payload on a pad. SpaceX remains private, so this desk still has no share price to attach to the story.
