Saturday morning list
Walk one room. Pick ten things you have not used in a year and that someone else can carry away: clothes in good shape, a small appliance that works, kids’ gear they outgrew. Skip anything broken you would have to explain for an hour.
Photograph each one in daylight, on the floor or a table, with the flaw in the frame if there is a flaw. A price is what you would pay for it used this weekend, not what you paid new.
The listing and the handoff
Post where people nearby already look. Then follow two rules.
- Title is the object and the size or model. The first line is the flaw or “no flaws.”
- Meet in a public place, or on your porch in daylight. Payment you can confirm before they leave.
- Ignore anyone who will not meet, who overpays and asks you to forward the extra, or who wants a code sent to your phone.
- Sunday night, anything still unsold gets a lower price or goes to a donation drop. Do not let the pile move back into the closet.
Where the money goes
Put the cash in the Hold account the same day, or use it on a bill you already named. A weekend sale that becomes takeout was a closet rearrangement.
